Back when I got my Instagram account, I was proud of all my followers. These people - mostly family and friends, to be honest - will see my sculpture, and buy my art.
I quickly discovered that there are not 100 followers on Instagram which was used. Today, if you do not play with thousands of followers, then you can also live on bleachers.
Like many people these days, I bought followers from a reputable company. I continued to work hard on both my art and my social media presence Animor, your presence on social media platforms is your marketing.
The hard work paid off. My reputation grew as a serious artist. Soon, I earned decent wealth for my art, but the most important thing was that I was being recognized as an artist.
I honestly do not know whether I could make it as an artist before the advent of the internet and social media. Before the information era, the world was made so small, all kinds of artists were simply expected to be searched by someone for a long time. It makes me wonder how many Michelangelo, and how many Picasso were there in the world, who never got the chance to see, find and appreciate.
Along with social media, there is nothing other than dreams and talent with little artists-like me, certainly not a famous name or bank account - it's a legitimate chance. This is for me a famous media figure, a major critic, a famous person to see a celebrity post, and like it.
The cause of instagram is more preferred in the world. Just the right way can be the right moment - the lines of stars, a big bang, and bounce! Overnight, I am a star. Overnight you are a star.
With dreams like me and maybe you, the future of Instagram is particularly bright, and generally social media is bright.
Instagram works by using pictures which are deeply narrative driven. As humans, we are all natural storytellers. Unless we want to lose the attribute we had for millions of years, Instagram is safe. We want to tell all of the stories we have in pictures, snapshots of the wonderful moments of happiness, beauty, fun, meaning, and emotion. Instagram gives us a great way to tell our stories.
Social media is not going. Oh, if left to the elderly and middle-aged generations, then it could possibly be far away. Today, though the beginning of generation is capturing adulthood, and the next generation is coming closer to it with social media. They can not miss the world without internet and smart phones. They will certainly not follow a world without them, either.
Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and all other social media sites are part of our lives today because Walter Kronakite and morning paper were for generations before. They are not going anywhere.
